About Me

E.A. Moon: I am the professional wanderer, the Wanderloon, that weirdo on the trail listening to hiking horror stories while hiking. I'm (mostly) a solo hiker, a daily presence on the trails, and always trying to find a new one and get my verified completed badge. Sometimes I write essays about them. Sometimes those essays have a theme. Sometimes I forget to write for a while. Sometimes I don't. Themes of series of essays have included: Minnesota Hiking Club trails (ranked 1-67 respectively), Revisiting Minnesota State Parks, Superior Hiking Trail, Epic Hikes of Washington State, and the Great Wander of 2026. I'm also starting to add minimalist Hike With Me videos, because... I can? I don't know.
